I am on vacation in vieques and had planned to fly out earlier today(Monday). Those plans were squashed, and I was just wondering if anyone had info on getting back to pr as my flight leaves tomorrow at 7pm from San Juan back to the states. Are ferries or planes making rounds tomorrow (Tuesday) or should I call the airline now? Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteI am guessing the winds are out of the North, I'm not there right now, but that will make the ferries impossible to land there. The planes usually go to Mayaguez or even the DR, so you might want to call. I'm sure they'll understand.

On further observation of the weather in San Juan, light rain and breezy, you may actually be able to get out tomorrow. You would actually know better than I if you are on the island as to the conditions, but I would call the local airlines in the AM before I called the connection to the US later.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the suggestion. It seems perhaps like the worst has passed us by but I am not familiar with the safety procedures for tropical storms. Does anyone know a phone number for the ferry service for info?
ReplyDeleteIf they answer the phone, you will find the number at
